Giving Back to our Community

In late 2021, the Mythic team graciously came together to help out the Silicon Valley Second Harvest Food Bank. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Second Harvest serves more than 500,000 local residents each month – a whopping 12M pounds of food. The food bank has helped local, lower income families in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties for decades and during the past two years witnessed a dramatic increase in residents suffering from food shortage and needing help. The COVID-19 pandemic has been very challenging for our community and we wanted to do our part.

The Mythic HR team gave our colleagues the opportunity to pitch in and match the company’s planned donation to Second Harvest Food Bank. For all donations up to $2,500, Mythic would match it dollar for dollar. Our team stepped up and quickly! Within 48 hours, our goal was met and exceeded – prompting Mythic’s leadership team to up the goal.

We doubled our goal to $5,000 and we’re proud to say that it was achieved, delivering an impressive donation of $10,313 total raised. This is enough to provide 20,000 meals for those in need and we couldn’t be more appreciative of our team for pitching in and supporting our local community.

This initiative showcases how remarkably talented, kind, and giving our team is at Mythic. We’ve built a culture that understands the value of helping others and finds ways to deliver good in everything they do – both at work and at home. Thank you to all the Mythic team!
